About Us

Ochima Engineering are independent vehicle damage engineers, based in the North West of the UK.

Image-based desktop assessments and physical inspections of accident damaged vehicles are carried out on a national scale.

Our assessments ensure that vehicles that have been in accidents are repaired exactly how the manufacturers of each vehicle have specified.

Vehicle Safety

In today’s world with forever changing and more complex vehicle structures produced by manufacturers, repairing vehicles correctly is imperative and can immensely affect the integrity of a vehicle post repairs.

Ochima Engineering welcome change with open arms – as manufacturers change their approach to producing vehicles in order to make them safer for their customers – we embrace this and feel that changes which make vehicles safer are crucial.

Crumple Zones

For example, nearly all vehicles nowadays have ‘Crumple zones’. These areas try to ensure that if a car has been in an accident, as much energy as possible is absorbed by the ‘softer’ outer metals on a vehicle and, thus, reducing the amount of energy transferred through to the driver or passengers within the vehicle.

Engineer Training

We strive to ensure our engineers have the training, knowledge and expertise to keep their assessments of damaged vehicles as accurate, safe and informative as possible.

With innovative technologies coupled with the increase in the number of vehicles on the road every single day, the demand for an accurate and independent engineer has never been greater.

Working hand in hand with legal entities, insurance principals and accident management organisations, we adhere to strict timelines and aim to ensure a reliable service is provided every time at Ochima Engineering.
